Thomas Appraisal Services, Inc specializes in the appraisal of commercial real estate
in Yellowstone County, primarily in Billings, Montana.
Mr. Thomas has worked as a commercial real estate appraiser since 1992, getting
his start with Pardue, Heide, Church, Smith and Waller in Orlando, Florida. He is
a certified general real estate appraiser and has been appraising throughout the
state of Montana since 1994. Mr. Thomas received the MAI designation from the Appraisal
Institute in 2002 and is actively involved with the Montana Chapter of the Appraisal

Brenda attended Montana State University in Bozeman and Billings where she graduated with a Business Finance degree in 2008. Starting in 2007 Brenda held various positions in commercial lending including credit analyst and commercial lender. From 2011 - 2019 Brenda began her work in valuation services with Western Security Bank. This consisted of extensive appraisal reviews of all property types including retail, office, industrial, agriculture, subdivisions, land, residential, and special use properties.
In 2019, Brenda earned the Appraisal Institute General Review Specialist Designation (AI-GRS), becoming the first person in Montana to do so. The following year, she joined NAI Business Properties as a real estate analyst, conducting numerous evaluations of different property types across Montana. In November 2020, Brenda partnered with Dave Thomas of Thomas Appraisal Services, and she received her Certified General Appraiser license through this collaboration.
